What does the Bible say about how to interpret the Bible?
The initial thrust of this ministry is to make a movie and a novel about the book of Job. The theme is the glory of God. The purpose is to clearly demonstrate which parts of the book of Job are to be used as the basis for sound doctrine, and which parts God has warned us are tainted with folly. Some of the links below explain this in more detail.
There are many many people, mere humans, that have their own opinions about how to interpret the Holy Bible. It seems like it would be better to set those opinions aside and ask questions such as these. What does God say about how to properly understand His Holy Scriptures? What guides and signposts has The Author placed in His Word to steer the way?
We sensed a calling to start with a movie about the book of Job. The focus of this ministry is to point people to the Scriptures where it tells us how to discern the teachings of the Holy Bible the way God intended. Rather than specifying a systematic theology, it is more like The Author’s guide for discovering systematic theology yourself. It would be better to get to know God by carefully considering His Word, instead of getting to know a commentary, wouldn’t it?
