Chronocide —
Every moment of life that we live is a precious gift from God. We do not need to wait until we are diagnosed with a terminal illness before we can start to appreciate the value of another day or another hour.
You have a calling, a purpose, a mission to fulfil with your life.
When I kill time, it is like throwing away part of my life. It is like committing suicide one minute at a time. You could call it “chronocide.”
If you have some time to kill, please consider taking some of that time and praying for guidance regarding the calling God has for your life. Ask God to fan the flames of your desire to fulfil your purpose in life and you will never again have time to kill.
Ephesians 5:14-16
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
